This is one true professional company. Took the time to answer my questions and provided a great solution. I then had a further question which was answered promptly and explained perfectly. Could not be happier. Will recommend to all my friends and family.
Easy to set up using the Wave app. Pulls in the 3G network strongly but haven’t worked out how to connect to the 4g/LTE network which is on the same tower and can’t find any information to enable this. Optus 8818 wireless modem is and iPad are both 4g.
unit is easy to setup, but took a couple calls to the IT guru's to get it at full capacity. Still needed an aerial at extra $. Was told initially I wouldn't need one, but one sales lady said she always recommends one.
Hi Jim, thank you for letting us know. You purchased a Cel-Fi Pro, we would only recommend the PRO unit without an external antenna if a desktop signal study showed there was ample signal. The only thing that a survey can't identify is attenuation due to foliage etc. This is when we rely on the customer relating the "on the ground" experience showing a minimum of 1 bar that is always consistent. Still it's great that you now have the coverage you need and if you have any further questions don;t hesitate to reach out.
Only works on 3G
Hi Greg, thank you for your review. The Cel-Fi Pro does work on 4G, however in your case we have checked the towers you can receive and 4G is only available at higher frequencies at a lower power level and not reaching your location. We're pleased that you have a solid 3G signal now.
